The result is less silvery and without that nice sheen found in Karen's look, however I guess this makes it more wearable for days when I want things to be more toned down.
What I used:
-Urban Decay Primer Potion as base (not pictured)
-Maybelline Sapphire Ice quad:
- dark blue shade on outer corner,
- lightest silvery blue colour on inner corner,
- white shade under browbone
-MAC Passionate eyeshadow in crease, overlapping the dark navy blue colour slightly so that the pink blends out the blue a little.
-MAC Brun eyeshadow to line top lid slightly and to fill brows
-Almay mascara in Amethyst
This is only the 3rd or 4th time I've used the Maybelline quad, mostly because the silvery blue colours don't suit my skintone. Its actually quite pigmented, although I do always use UDPP underneath so that probably helps. Their quads have definitely improved in the past years ... my first quad from them had no pigment whatsover, but this was much better.

i like the way the colors on the outer corner transition and blend together
Oh wow, that's super pretty! Nice job on the blending too! I'm still working on using shadow to enhance my crease. It's just tough working with such a small fold >.<.
I really like the color combo for this look.
I think it worked very well!
I'm interested in the Almay mascara in Amethyst... I can't quite tell from your pictures, but does the purple colour come through?
That's beautiful! I really think this look is the epitome of a "watercolour sky", hehehe. :D
that is pretty!:)
i love how you blended this. it's soo pretty. I love how all the colors just blend seamlessly together and the whole colour scheme itself is so pretty. the gradient is just lovely :)
hm, when i have extra money...i'll try some of that Maybelline e/s. The single e/s's look pretty nice!
Hey Blu3!
I have never ever done a professional facial treatment before! Haha... I'm so behind in the times, I really want to try it, but then I'm also always afraid that it will mess my skin up somehow. So I just stick to what I know works. Yea, so basically my skin is only taken care of by the products I use.
hey how's it going? the colours look pretty matte in the photos - i really like the colour combo! how long does it take u to do your eye makeup?...
Definitely more wearable - but still stunning!! Pink is one of those eye colours that just freaks the hell outta me, but you make it look so easy!!
Must keep your version in mind if I ever want to dupe Karen's look - yours is much more Asian-friendly!! (Though you still have more lid than me - so unfair!!)
I like how the pink warms up the whole look :)
I'll post a before and after the next chance I get. I still moisturize with their gel sample first, since that may yield optimum results. It's not moisturizing enough for me to just use it alone!
I love the look!
You are too clever and found me even though I forgot to leave my URL! ;)
Thanks for your feedback on Almay. I've been hunting high and low for a nice purple mascara. The last one I had that I liked was Bourjois's 'Pump up the Volume'. It's a subtle purple but I always got exclamations from people, 'Hey, are you wearing purple mascara?' :) The good thing about it is that it doesn't clump. The bad thing is that I can't find it anymore. :/
The duck is really simple to do as you can see from the video. Do give it a go, it's absolutely delish!
Wow. This looks great on you...If I tried to do this, I would look as though I have been in a fight!
Very pretty. I think I almost like yours better because it's more wearable. And if you wanted to turn it into a night look, then add on more glitter with a glitter pencil or something.
You've inspired me to put in more effort in my eye makeup! :)
Lovely blue shade on you, although you mentioned it doesn't suit your skin tone....
