She's saying that the Pro Store she was at released the collection early...so I wonder if the Pro Store near me on Queen St would have done the same? I am so calling tomorrow....although I've noticed they hardly ever pick up their phone :(
In any case, those swatches are killing a few lemmings for me. Those quad colours look so light...so I'm not sure about the quads anymore. Man I wish they'd sell just the empty quads.
As for the rest of the stuff, I'm probably gonna get:
- Sassed up Iridescent pressed powder
- Utterly Frivolous lipstick
- and either Sugar Trance lipglass or Cult Fave lipglass

The Utterly Frivolous lipstick looks good! So does the Strawberry lipstick. Yea I agree the eyeshadow quads look really disappointing. Hey at least that saved you some money. Also I think you should get the Cult Fave lipgloss, just because I'm not a big fan of super pale pinks.
hey I came upon your blog via neccesarymakeup.com, anyways Im from Ottawa and was wondering if the queen street MAC store is doing any MAC fafi make overs? as in you get 30mins with a MUA and they do your makeup as long as you buy 55$ worth of stuff???
p.s the reason I ask is because I will be in toronto to visit my sister the day after the release of fafi and wanted to go in to the one on queen street

i can't say for sure, but i don't see why the Pro store wouldn't do it if everywhere else has it. However you should definitely call and book an appointment soon because i've heard a lot of people are already booking appointments for Fafi.
i would've booked an appointment, but i have a lot going on that week and have no clue what day exactly i'll be able to make it there :(
Anyway, if I manage to contact the Pro store tomorrow I'll let you know :)
Y'know what's funny? I kept saying I wasn't excited about the Fafi collection. But with the swatches, I'm definitely thinking about getting a few of the lipsticks, specifically Strawbaby and Flash N Dash. The iridescent powder in Belightful also intrigues me. But I agree with you about the quads, I'll probably pass.

hahha yah,i seriously could just wait the few days til I get back but Ive been waiting sooo long hahaha. So my mac store made an appt for me at the Queen street store, only I think I will have to cancel it because at that pro store they are NOT doing FAFI makeoevers, its just normal appt I think, and 55$ service fee with a free mascara. BUt in ottawa its FAFI makeover with FAFI products and you have to MAKE a purchase of 55$...SO Id rather spend 55$ on products then use it for a service fee!
Sheesh annoying eh? Oh well. I guess I dont really need a makeover at my store. Im going to the unveiling on the 10th anyways hahahha

p.s I just read temptalia's review on FAFI and she said the images on the packaging are stickers ...how cheap!
nah...i'll probably just go to a counter at The Bay closest to me...work gets in the way of those events :(

Well I'm in NYC and Fafi collection has been released. I got the blush in Fashion Frenzy and Illuminating face powder. I also booked an appt for a little make up/ make over event specfically for Fafi between Feb 24 and Mar 1st...where i intend to get wayyy more products lol. I loveeeeeee this collection!
