What am I doing still up? [Comments fixed!]

Fixed the comment form, sorry about that! Thanks Sugabum and Glow for letting me know :)

I'm supposed to be in bed sleeping, according to my constantly broken resolution to sleep earlier. But I just showered and my hair needs to air dry, so here I am.

I don't know what is wrong with my nose. Its been feeling quite ticklish, as if I have a cold. In fact I thought I had a cold last week, and over this weekend too, but the feeling comes and goes. Its like the virus just can't make up its mind what to do with me. Bleh.

Anyway, I wanted to mention that I've stayed away from foundation for the past month to see if it would improve my skin. I'd love to say it did, but sadly it hasn't done that much. My t-zone seems to get slightly less blackheads, but I still have breakouts and blackheads galore on my chin. Sigh. I even tried the much talked about Ly-Na Pearl Cream on the problem areas, and so far it hasn't done anything yet (its been 2 weeks). Maybe its just me expecting too much, but a lot of skincare products just don't seem to help my skin. Guess as long as it doesn't screw up my skin for the worse I should be so grateful. I've started using the Clarisonic now, hopefully that'll do something.

I'll have a haul post coming up sometime. Definitely spent way too much this month for my own good. Its ironic that I didn't really buy much for the past few months (after my NY trip), then right when the economy is going down I go on a shopping spree. Fortunately for my bank account, the Sephora's Friends and Family Sale doesn't apply to Canada. I'll be picking up the MAC pigment sets this weekend, but after that I plan to avoid buying anything more until next year.

For now I leave you with pictures of my current MSF collection, i.e. shameless MSF photo-whoring :P

The two newest members

I got Petticoat and So Ceylon. I almost considered Gold Deposit, but it was too orangy on me and would definitely end up neglected so I passed.

Clockwise from top: Petticoat, Light Flush, New Vegas, Global Glow, So Ceylon

Including the lone non-MAC member - the Laneige Snow Radiant Blusher in the bottom right hand corner.

By the way I thought I should mention that I ended up returning the Bankroll Pearlglide liner. The colour was pretty but the glitter actually would get into my eye and irritate my contacts. Its weird because this was the first makeup product that has ever done that to me. Guess that saves me some money though since I won't be lusting after the rest of the Pearlglides then.

Have you been stressing out a lot lately? Or maybe it's the change in season. Sometimes, I break out worse when it gets colder and drier, so I have to keep my face well moisturized and clean.

I hope things get easier for you.

Maybe you can make an Asian fusion pizza haha. Instead of the usual toppings, use sriracha, barbecue pork and tofu as toppings LOL!
