I got tagged by Alienman!
So I'm tagging Petitebelle and Beautyjunkie :)
Supposed to tag seven, but a lot of the people I would've tagged have already been tagged by others -.-
Rules as quoted from Alienman's blog:

So here's my list:
1. I've always wanted to work in a Starbucks. Don't know why. I think its the smell of coffee.
2. I love rice. i also love soup. but rice + soup = 10000000000 times better. there's just something irresistible about soupy rice.
3. When buying something, i cannot pick the first item on the shelf. Noooooooooo, i absolutely must pick the one from the back of the shelf, because those just seem newer / fresher. And this applies to everything - from groceries to makeup to electronics.
4. As a kid, I used to get into trouble for reading TOO MUCH. I had no self control with books. Yep, I was obsessed.
5. I'm peverse. NOT pervert, perverse :P If someone tells me I can't do something, I immediately feel a stronger urge to do it. Just to prove them wrong.
6. I was into Power Rangers as a kid...and TMNT lol
7. I've watched Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind a gazillion times. Seriously. I could still watch it again, and repeat it word for word.

hahah OMG I just came over from following your tag on belles page cuz I was buying some stuff there... But then I read your post and I kinda relate...
As a kid I also got into trouble for reading I couldn't stop, sometimes in the middle of the night I'd use a flashlight to read the book under the blanket.
I also pick packages and items from the back but not always...
And I'm not sure perverse is the correct term for what your describing...perverse describes a immoral, deviant action/hobby/ characteristic not accepted by society
I think you meant the word persevere which is refusing to allow obstacles to get in your way and persisting in your endeavor.
I'm not even sure if thats the correct term in this context maybe; bullheaded or obstinate would work better....

Wow, it's funny how much this small little game reveals about people. I'm actually amazed at how much we have in common! I've always had this fantasy about being a barista and serving coffee to philosophers and writers, haha. Number 4 has me convinced we led parallel lives. I, too, loved TMNT... As for number three, I get the third from the front b/c I get scared I'll knock down the whole shelf if I reach too far back (I'm VERY clumsy). ESSM was a BEAUTIFUL movie

hoan86: hmm i always saw it defined as going against what people tell you to do - but i guess its more specific, for doing something that goes against societal norms.
alienman: haha thats funny! i've always wanted to be a barista too specifically! it seems cool to me to be able to make all those fancy coffees for others. perhaps someday as a part time job :P and glad to find another fan of Eternal Sunshine :) LOVE that movie.
omg i always wanted to work for starbucks too!!!! lol i even applied but never got called back :( oh well, if you get a job there, hook us up :D
