some inspirational looks -

Photobucket

I'm looking foward to try this one, although it'll have to be modified to suit my eye shape.

This other one is similar but colour is kept lower, and just a tad muted.

And for this one below, what I like is how its colourful yet looks very wearable because the colours aren't in-your-face bright, but just subtle and well blended.

Sometimes I wish I had more off days from work so I could try these looks out. Two days in a weekend isn't enough time to play with makeup ...:(

Also, I just hauled 3N lipstick and 2N lipgloss from the N Collection....which seem like they'll be a good match for those nude lips in the looks above yay :D

I wish I'd read this post before I went out :P I hopped into MAC this morning and having looked at the N collection, I just went, "MEH". But I love the colours you've picked. That means I'll have to go in again tomorrow :P

The muted gold with browns are LOVELY

2N Lipglass! I have this but I keep debating about returning or keeping it. Thanks for the inspiration photos. I also find Bollywood/Indian makeup really inspirational (just taken down a few degrees in intensity).

I agree with (g) You should try it and post about it!

I love the first picture! Now I can finally put my Pure Ore Metal-X e/s to use!

I've got 2N lipstick coming in the mail, so hopefully it looks good. I have such a hard time finding a good nude, so this may be it!

the first one is soooooo beautiful!! I am totally going to give it a try. Now that I look closely, models' skins really aren't that great...in fact they're actually kind of bad.

geekchic: aww i didn't mean to create lemmings for you! i did the exact same thing when i first went to pick up Light flush MSF - completely ignored the lip colours - until i saw some swatches on pursebuzz.

gezebel & chiara: its so pretty right? i want to do a fotd with it :)

psychoexgf: I'm having the same problem with my 138 brush, although I still have time. One thing i like about getting stuff from counters at The Bay is how they have 3 months to return something lol :)

emilee: hope it works for you! 2N lipstick looked too pale for me but 2N gloss was better so I got that instead. make sure you post pics if you try the looks :)

mae: yup i like how the 2nd one is so wearable. i could see that look being ok for work.

christiana: post pics if you try it!

nicola: hey again :) i'm lemming that kate palette you just posted btw. the brush set is a pretty good deal, i have one too but its the novel twist one.

vanessa: hey you're back! thanks, i hope things are going well for you too :)

petitebelle: haha i was thinking the exact same thing from these pics...you can see where the foundation is hiding their blemishes if you look closely. makes me feel a bit better about my skin...
i guess breaking out is probably a job hazard for them, they must get lots of different products slapped on their faces all the time.
