i need a new wallet.

i never liked LV before (surprisingly right...)

until I saw these:

And I like these ones from their new summer collection:

They look so nautical. Seems to be a key theme this summer....with MAC's Naughty Nauticals and all.

But I doubt I'll get one anytime soon. In the unlikely event that I decide to splurge on them, there's the 13% sales tax on top of the Canadian price anyway :(

omg that's a lot of tax! Are you planning to buy online or going to the actual shop? I guess the only good thing about europe, we get these designers in EU prices, and not hiked up. i really like the damier canvas, if you should invest in LV, definitely go for leather!! they last so much longer and the style is timeless :)

i know...its the combination of PST and GST for Ontario that = 13% :( sigh. i could save so much money, esp on mac if i wasn't living in Ontario. i'll probably wait til I go to either US or Europe to get the wallet...hopefully i'll get to go this year!

I love the last one! I usually don't like LV either 'cuz I don't like the leather they use. But that one is super cute. I want it.

Aiyo... 13% tax!!! :( Yes, wait! I would suggest not going for their croisette line. They're not nearly as durable as the damier azur white checkered design (not as stain resistant, for instance).

hi there! i think some of LV design is cute, but with the industrial quantity of fakes out there, it's really really not worth it...

Ugh tax *cringes* I, also, have never liked LV but the second to last one's pretty cute...

Ouch, 13%! I like the first one. :) I'm quite fond of damier azur, even though the monograms are a classic.

Hey there! Oh I like the third one!

I have to say that you always write such great reviews..so thorough and candid.

I haven't had much of a chance to shop around in Toronto. Worst of all is that I won't get a chance to go shopping with you :( Have seriously been so busy with all the stuff going on on this trip. I did sneak away though for an hour to hit Eaton centre (I rushed through to Sephora and Shoppers Drug Mart!). So hopefully I'll get more time in Mississauga; where we're heading next!

take care and speak to you soon,
Grayburn
