Mukomuko dress & Annabelle mascara

Sorry for the lack of posts! There just aren't enough hours in the day it seems to get all the things I want done :S

I got my dress and the tube I bought from Ling at Mukomuko Shop about 2 weeks ago...I know, I'm only posting it now because I'm so behind with my posts! I keep taking pictures of things I want to talk about but end up not blogging about them until much later...Anyway, back to the point, I love the dress! Definitely very wearable and the tube top lining I got because it suits the dress and I can definitely use it with many outfits :)

Taking pictures reminded me I really need to get myself some jewellery! I haven't bought anything of that sort since university, simply because I used to just forget to wear them when rushing off to class. Also being bundled up in winter jackets for half the year in Canada doesn't really help. But anyways, I've realised I need more grown up accessories than what I have now, lol. I'malready eyeing some things off F21 and H&M. Last weekend's planned shopping trip did not happen because I had other things to deal with, so hopefully I'll get the chance to go this weekend.

But anyways, onto pictures of the dress:

Inner top (this is sold separate):

I wore it with the inner white top, white kitten heels and jacquard black/silver Coach purse. A long necklace or a chunky metal bracelet would've been nice if I had them.

Back of the dress. I like lower cut backs :)

On to another topic - I requested a mascara sample from Annabelle Cosmetics a while ago, and they sent me an email saying I can email 6 invitations for samples of their volumelash.com mascara. This is for Canadian addresses only...so any Canadian reader that wants to try this, drop me a line via email, and I'll send you the code. There are only 6 uses so its going to whoever requests it first - also please don't request it if you're not located in Canada otherwise it would go to waste.

I haven't received my sample yet, but from the sound of this other review, the mascara brush design sounds interesting! I'll review it when I get mine.

angie: thanks :D

jewels: i just checked on MUA, and from the sound of it i don't think it is waterproof :( But you can still try it if you want?

jewels: haha I'm so short I don't even want to say exactly, but I'm barely 5 ft :(

Hahah yup. I usually don't even take close ups of my eye because it doesn't look like I have anything on! GR.

No, no problem. Yeah, took me a little bit to figure it out but I'm happy with my decision. Yeah, I love cosmetics! But even if the position was part time, I wouldn't have time to do 2! Retail hours are variable.

HEY GIRL! XD

How've you been? I return from the dead...like a zombie! Haha. That dress looks so beautiful! I wants! I was skeptical about the little bit of lace on the bottom but it matches the tube top well and looks absolutely stunning on you. You're so skinny! Tell me why ou wanted to lose weight again?

Also, fellow comrade in being short! *clings*

I love the slightly subtle lace detailing~ if I had your figure, I would totally jump on buying that...and if I had not already abused my buying priveleges. :(

very nice dress - at first it looks rather simple, but I love the details on the hem - it's so dainty!

Thank you dear =).

Yeah, how on earth does Pink find the time and dedication to keep it up?! That girl blows my mind. I stopped after 2 straight months >.<. I agree! I have such small wrists I can turn a solid metal banded watch (I'm not sure if that makes sense) around 360 degrees, or 180, I don't remember. Any weight I can shows in my face. Trust me at certain angles, I have a double chin. You aren't alone m'dear, and plus you are gorgeous!

Damn nails took literally 2 hours to finish (or maybe more) but they are so tough that I use them like tools hehe! But eventually I had to have them shortened because I couldn't do an-y-thing! The new OPI polishes are really great for fall/winter. Quite glamorous. I don't know the name of the gold polish they used but they first applied a champagne color then topped it with a shimmer. It's glam but still wearable for daytime I think.
