Sephora Benefit GWP and nails

Sephora has a new GWP: If you spend over $50 and one of the items in your cart is from Benefit, enter BEAUTYGEMS at checkout to receive the following set:
  • Full-size BADgal Lash Mascara
  • Full-size Rush Hour Lip & Cheek color
  • Full-size California Kissin' lip shine
  • Bathina showercap
  • Luscious Lana Beauty bag (Source)
Thats one of the best codes I've ever seen from Sephora! So...of course I had to give it a try and order something :P

Not sure what to get from Benefit? I've never tried their products before, but the items that I always see great raves are their Coralista blush, and their cream shadow/liner pots. In fact I ordered the Benefit Girls' Night In set recommended by Katie because she made it look so good :P

Unfortunately the Ebates cashback is now back to 4% (it was 8% again for a month or so) but the GWP is still a great deal.

Asos also has a sale including certain items from Paul & Joe, Korres, Benefit, and Urban Decay.

Adam Beauty has also added many new things - BB creams, Dariya sheets,

In other news, I also did my nails with the gradient look today using the Canmake polish from Glow:

I love the colour! I'll have to look for more Canmake colours to get now :) The gradient look is also surprisingly easy to do, and so much more forgiving of mistakes than a regular solid colour.

Since we're on the topic of nails, I also used Zoya Harmonie a few weeks ago to do my toes. Its the bottle on the right:

And this is how it looks on, with only two coats:

Its extremely opaque though slightly streaky on the first coat. But I'm definitely a Zoya convert now, especially since they're supposed to be free of the Big 3 chemicals commonly found in polish(formaldehyde, toluene, DBP).

I also picked up my first polish from Nicole by OPI in Love your Life:

Photobucket

Yes, the only reason I got it was because it had heart shaped pieces in the polish :P The polish is essentially clear though so it'll require a base coat underneath. I do wish there were more hearts in the polish though, because once you apply it the hearts are too spread out. You can only get about 2-3 hearts per nail, unless you deliberately pick up the heart pieces from the bottle (huge hassle btw).

i always hear that benefit's lemon-aid is really good. but when i went to sephora to go buy it, the sales girl wouldn't let me, because she said i didn't need it (because i don't have chronic dark circles)! haha...

The gradient looks really pretty. I do agree that Canmake nailpolish are really good and affordable too.

thanks for your input on the 187 blu3 :)
I'm going to email them soon just to see if I can do an exchange in store...cause if I wanted to do a return it says I have to do it by mail.
The gradient is really pretty! I still need to find a good coarse glitter polish to use on the gradients. I actually wanted that Nicole polish, but it was sold out by the time I realized I wanted it! lol
And yeah, I have coralista (LOVE IT) and the tinted benefit...so not sure what I want to get...seeing as I rEALLY want to get that GWP. Never bought online from sephora...so a little excited to do one :)
And I agree on the Zoya polish, that are gorgeous, and I find that they stay quite well. They don't chip like the ChG does on me.

How funny, I'm painting my nails now! (Rimmel London I Heart Lasting Finish in Black Cherry)

I've seen Canmake on a lot of Taiwanese blogs. They look very interesting, considering that I'm in the market for polishes with chunky glitter. I love how you did the gradient nail. :) Would love to see Nicole by OPI in Love your Life on your nails too!

Oh that Nicole polish is cute! I only have Nicole's Top Coat Plus, which I bought in a hurry because I didn't have any OPI clear polish. I'll have to look for this one! I bought mine from Shoppers...you?

Hey, I was going to email, but I received my cKone prize last week! I got a grey cKone t-shirt to go with it. I'll be posting about it on my blog sometime soon. :) Thanks again!

I really want to try Rush Hour but since that's part of the gift it'd be stupid to buy one :-P...
Their eye shadows are good :). And I like their glosses too, I have some ^_^. And BeneTint's great, but I like having a mini 'cause the full one is huge and it's very likely to expire on you unless you use it every day...

The hearts in that polish are so pretty ^_^.

*squee* I am LOVING your fingernails =D I'd never wear it (I don't polish my nails - I'm convinced it'll weaken them!) but it is so cute!

I hope you enjoy the benefit's girl's night in as much as I do! =) I might have to take advantage of this sephora GWP as well >_<

The badgal lash mascara is soo bad...well atleast I didn't like it..it doesn't do anything for my lashes. You must do a look using your pink heart nail polish!

Nicole by OPI polishes are really good. I actually consider them better quality than regular OPI or Sephora by OPI!
