I just changed my blog layout, because the old one was getting boring and too cluttered. I am not a 100% satisfied with it though because the comment button is at the top of the posts, unless you go to the individual post page. However it will have to do for now unless I can recruit the bf to design one for me...
Anyway, here is a look at the Annabelle Volume Lip glosses, a new release from Groupe Marcelle, which I have been eyeing since spotting them in the drugstore.
Comes in 5 colours: Iced Spice, Metro Mango, Cherryoke, Sweet Tweet, Vivid Volume
The colours I got to try were:
Sweet Tweet - pale cool tined pink with pearl
Cherryoke - semi sheer reddish pink
As you can see, the colours range from being sheer to semi-sheer. The gloss feels quite comfortable on my lips, with only a hint of stickiness.
The wonderful thing about these glosses is that they do not contain any irritating ingredients that would sting your lips. Instead, they contain ingredients to condition and hydrate the lips so that the lip plumping effect is long term rather than temporary.
The only fault I could find was that the tube is hard to squeeze with one hand (when you are applying it) but according to Annabelle, they are aware of it and more pliable tubes are already being reformulated for the next batch!
I do like the packaging style though - they look very different and more up to date than the regular squeeze tubes (like those found in Lancome Juice Tubes). The cap is also a click top cap rather than a screw on cap so it would be handy to apply on the go.
